Panthers' Olsen out for season with new foot injury
Carolina Panthers tight end Greg Olsen was ruled out in the second quarter of Sunday's Week 13 game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers after leaving with a foot injury.
After the game, the veteran told reporters he ruptured his plantar fascia and is done for the rest of the season, per The Athletic's Joe Person.

When asked if the latest injury has signaled the end of his career, Olsen said he'd need more time before making such a determination, according to Max Henson of Panthers.com.
The 33-year-old caught his lone target for a 13-yard gain prior to departing. He entered the day with 26 receptions for 278 yards and four touchdowns in eight games this year.
Olsen was limited to just seven appearances last season after breaking his foot in Week 2. He then missed time at the start of the current campaign after refracturing his right foot in Carolina's season-opening win over the Dallas Cowboys.
