Washington Redskins quarterback Colt McCoy will miss the rest of the season with a fractured right fibula, ESPN's Lisa Salters reported during the Monday Night Football broadcast.

Jay Gruden says that from what he understands QB Colt McCoy fractured his fibula and will miss the remainder of the 2018 season.

McCoy sustained the injury early in the game and was replaced by Mark Sanchez.

The Redskins have now lost two quarterbacks due to injury in the past three weeks. Starter Alex Smith was injured for the year after he broke both his tibia and fibula in Week 11. Sanchez was signed a week later to back up McCoy.

Washington is now down to one healthy quarterback on its roster.
