Bears' Nagy believes Jackson avoided season-ending ankle injury

Chicago Bears head coach Matt Nagy believes safety Eddie Jackson avoided a season-ending injury during Sunday's game against the Green Bay Packers.

Jackson suffered a sprained ankle when he slid while running an Aaron Rodgers interception out of the end zone.

"I don't think either one of them is season-ending," Nagy said during his media availability Monday, referring to Jackson's ailment and Aaron Lynch's elbow injury.

Jackson has emerged as a revelation for the Bears this season, recording 51 tackles, a sack, two forced fumbles, and six interceptions in 14 games during his second professional campaign.

Chicago clinched the NFC North with Sunday's victory and will need Jackson to be at full strength for the team's first playoff appearance since 2010.
