Burlington residents Angelo and Darlene Paletta have pledged $750,000 to Carpenter Hospice to go toward the capital costs associated with a new wing being built at the hospice. The wing, named in their honour, is expected to be completed by summer of 2019. It will have 10 bedroom suites and a centralized nursing station.
