Despite Green Bay Packers interim head coach Joe Philbin being non-committal on who will start at quarterback against the New York Jets, Aaron Rodgers said he'll be the one behind center.

"It's about leadership, how can I stand here and say these game don't matter," Rodgers said, according to The Athletic's Josh Tolentino. "That's not the way I lead. I'm super competitive."

Rodgers suffered a groin injury in Sunday's 24-17 loss to the Chicago Bears, which officially eliminated the now 5-8-1 Packers from playoff contention.

"I'm hopeful he's going to practice, and I'm hopeful he's going to play," Philbin said, according to ESPN's Rob Demovsky.

If he's unable to suit up, DeShone Kizer will take his place behind center.
