Chiefs' Watkins, Berry, Ware return to practice
The Kansas City Chiefs received some reinforcements ahead of Saturday's divisional-round game against the Indianapolis Colts.
Wide receiver Sammy Watkins, safety Eric Berry, and running back Spencer Ware all returned to practice Tuesday after missing time at the end of the regular season due to injuries.
Watkins hasn't played since Week 11 due to a foot ailment. The 25-year-old totaled 40 receptions for 519 yards and three touchdowns over 10 games after signing a three-year, $48-million contract as a free agent in the offseason.
Berry returned to the Chiefs in Week 15 after being sidelined since Week 1 of the 2017 campaign with a ruptured Achilles. He played two games before sitting out the regular-season finale.
Ware started in Week 13 and 14 following the team's release of Kareem Hunt but missed the final three games due to a hamstring issue.
Damien Williams took over for the final three contests and racked up 322 total yards with four scores.
The Chiefs will host the Colts at Arrowhead Stadium at 4:35 p.m. ET on Saturday.
