The New York Yankees will have a Super Bowl winner at camp when spring training begins in February.

Seattle Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson will report to the Yankees' complex in Tampa, Fla. for spring training, his agent told MLB Network's Jon Morosi on Thursday.

Wilson, 30, attended spring training with the Yankees last year, even briefly factoring into a game to take one at-bat - a five-pitch strikeout against Atlanta Braves left-hander Max Fried.

Wilson was drafted twice by MLB clubs - the Baltimore Orioles in 2007 and the Colorado Rockies in 2011 - but he ultimately decided to pursue a career in the NFL, and went to the Seattle Seahawks 75th overall in 2012.

In 2013, the Texas Rangers acquired Wilson's rights from the Rockies via the Rule 5 Draft. Prior to the 2018 season, Wilson's rights were traded to the Yankees - his and his father's favorite team.

The Seahawks were eliminated from the NFL playoffs Saturday after losing to the Dallas Cowboys in the NFC wild-card game.
