The Baltimore Ravens are shaking up their coaching staff, as the team announced Friday that senior offensive assistant and tight ends coach Greg Roman has been promoted to offensive coordinator.

Roman will replace Marty Mornhinweg, who coordinated the team's offense for the last three seasons. Despite being asked to remain on the staff in a different role, Harbaugh said Mornhinweg will be moving on, according to The Athletic's Jeff Zrebiec.

The Ravens' offense ranked ninth in the NFL during the regular season. Rookie Lamar Jackson sparked the unit after he took over as starting quarterback.

Roman's previous experience as an offensive coordinator came with the Buffalo Bills from 2015-2016, and the San Francisco 49ers from 2011-2014. He worked with another dual-threat quarterback in San Francisco, coaching Colin Kaepernick for the three most productive campaigns of his career.
