Tom Brady is no stranger to playing in the AFC Championship Game, but the New England Patriots quarterback will be in unfamiliar territory against the Kansas City Chiefs this time around.

New England opened as a three-point underdog for the upcoming matchup in Kansas City, ending Brady's 67-game streak (including the playoffs) of being favored to win as the starting quarterback, according to Ben Volin of the Boston Globe.

Brady and the Patriots were listed as a two-point underdog against the Buffalo Bills in Week 2 of the 2015 season (a game they won 40-32). The future Hall of Famer's streak lasted 1,218 days.

New England wasn't favored in Week 1 of the 2016 season, but Brady was suspended for the first four games of that campaign.

The matchup against the Chiefs will be the Patriots' eighth straight trip to the AFC title game.
