Marcus Peters and Amari Cooper fought many battles while they both resided in the AFC West, and the pair restarted their rivalry in Saturday's divisional-round matchup between the Los Angeles Rams and Dallas Cowboys.

The cornerback and receiver clashed in the end zone during the contest and then needed to be separated after coming to blows following the Rams' 30-22 win.

Peters continued to fan the flames postgame, ripping into Cooper for "crying for his mama" and taking a shot at the receiver's midseason departure from the Oakland Raiders.

"Tell Coop I thought he knew us. He said he played us two times a year ... that's 12 times he played against me and (Aqib Talib)," Peters said, according to Michael Silver of NFL.com. "I think he got strapped tonight. He had that TD, but he didn't do s---. (While incurring the personal foul) I choked him out. He couldn't do nothin'. He was crying for his mama. That's how he is. That's why the Raiders got rid of him."

Cooper caught an early 29-yard touchdown but struggled to make the kind of impact he had late in the regular season, finishing the game with 65 yards on six catches.
