If Nick Foles' time in Philadelphia is over, it's been a hell of a run.

Foles led the Eagles on a second consecutive playoff march this season, but there won't be another Super Bowl triumph after the magic ended with a loss to the New Orleans Saints on Sunday.

"I can't say enough good things about Nick. To do the things he's done the last two years, like I said, I can't thank him enough," Eagles head coach Doug Pederson said on Sportsradio 94WIP on Monday morning.

"He's a pro's pro. He's a great human being. He'll always be remembered in Philadelphia for bringing a Super Bowl."

Despite Foles' 4-1 record in the playoffs over the past two years, the Eagles remain committed to Carson Wentz as their franchise quarterback.

There's a mutual option in Foles' contract that would pay him $20 million for 2019 if he stays with the Eagles. The team must first decide - within one week of February's Super Bowl - whether or not to exercise the option. If the option is exercised, Foles would have five days to either accept the contract or pay back $2 million of his own money in order to hit free agency.
