Chiefs' Berry to play in AFC title game
by Michael McClymont from on (#47900)
Kansas City Chiefs safety Eric Berry was a full participant in practice the past two days and has been taken off the injury report, clearing the way for him to return against the New England Patriots in the AFC Championship Game.
Berry has only played in Week 15 and 16 this season after rupturing his Achilles last September. He's been sidelined since Week 17 with a heel issue.
Berry suited up for one game in 2017, a Week 1 contest against the Patriots in which he helped shut down tight end Rob Gronkowski in a 42-27 victory.
