Hypnotic Footage of Icy Methane Bubbles Floating Up to the Surface of a Frozen Lake in Alberta, Canada
by Lori Dorn from Laughing Squid on (#4891P)
German photographer Lennart Pagel captured beautifully hypnotic footage of icy methane bubbles just under the surface of a frozen lake in Alberta, Canada. These bubbles were in the midst of floating upward in layers to the surface before the lake froze solid.
Still mesmerized by the millions of frozen methane bubbles I found in the middle of wintery Alberta.
