New England Patriots tight end Rob Gronkowski isn't ready to reveal whether he's retiring, but his decision could come soon.

"It would be an unbelievable way to go out, but it's not about that tonight." Gronkowski told CBS Sports' Tracy Wolfson following the Patriots 13-3 victory over the Los Angeles Rams in Super Bowl LIII, his third championship. "It's about celebrating with teammates, and then I'll sit back, relax over the next week or two and see where I'm at."

Retirement speculation has picked up recently, with the 29-year-old saying earlier in the week that NFL life is taking a toll on him. He's endured numerous major injuries throughout his career, and the 2018 season was one of his least-productive campaigns.

The tight end still contributed as the Patriots captured their sixth Lombardi Trophy, catching six of seven targets for 87 yards, including a clutch 29-yard reception that set up the game's only touchdown.

Gronkowski has long kept his retirement plans close to the vest, repeatedly telling reporters he doesn't know what his future holds. The five-time Pro Bowler contemplated walking away after the Super Bowl last year, and is believed to be considering it again as his ninth season winds down.
