New Orleans Saints fans made their feelings very clear on Super Bowl Sunday.

After a controversial non-pass interference call in the NFC Championship Game played a big part in denying the Saints a trip to Super Bowl LIII, the city of New Orleans drew a 26.1 overnight viewership rating for Sunday's contest, the lowest of any market and the lowest for any Super Bowl in New Orleans history, according to NOLA.com's Jeff Duncan.

Saints fans also held a protest earlier in the day, jamming the streets to bemoan the non-call against the Los Angeles Rams, who ultimately fell to the New England Patriots on Sunday night.

Overall, CBS drew a 44.9 overnight rating for what ended up being the lowest-scoring Super Bowl in history, according to Deadline's Dominic Patten.

That number was a drop from last year's 47.4, and also the lowest overnight rating for a Super Bowl since the Pittsburgh Steelers beat the Arizona Cardinals in 2009, according to Rick Porter of The Hollywood Reporter.
