Instagram has bowed to public pressure and introduced a series of policies aimed at protecting vulnerable young people who use the site.
Adam Mosseri, the head of Instagram, has committed to tightening up a number of policies relating to self-harm and suicide on the photo-sharing platform after weeks of pressure spearheaded by the father of Molly Russell, a 14-year-old who took her life in 2017. Ian Russell believes Instagram was partly to blame.
