Antonio Brown: 'If your team got guaranteed money, tell them to call me'
Antonio Brown isn't done making contractual demands.
The four-time All-Pro receiver took to Instagram Live on Monday to share what he's looking for in a new NFL team.
"If your squad want to win and your squad want a hungry wide receiver who's the best in the whole world, someone hit my phone," Brown said in a nine-minute video that can be viewed below.
"Tell them I ain't doing no unguarantees, I ain't even gonna play myself no more for this NFL," he continued. "...If your team got guaranteed money, tell them to call me. AB can't do no more unguarantees. So we clear."
Brown is still under contract with the Pittsburgh Steelers, though he reportedly made a formal request for a trade last week. He has three years remaining on a $68-million extension signed in February 2017. Of that money, only $19 million was guaranteed, according to Spotrac.
Brown's desire for a fully guaranteed deal comes a year after Kirk Cousins signed a three-year, fully guaranteed contract with the Minnesota Vikings worth $84 million.
Brown also made a specific request regarding the type of locker room he'd next like to walk into.
"If (you're) one of them teams out there where the comradery bad, the energy bad, the players (are) haters, I don't wanna play there, I don't wanna go there. I don't wanna waste no time."
