The NFL announced on Thursday that the 2019 salary cap will be set at $188.2 million, according to NFL.com's Ian Rapoport.
That's an $11-million increase from the $177.2 million limit in 2018, marking the sixth consecutive season the cap has gone up by at least $10 million.
The salary threshold increased by more than $21 million from 2017 to 2018.
The rising cap can be attributed to revenue growth, according to NFL.com's Tom Pelissero.
The Indianapolis Colts enter the offseason with the most cap space, followed by the New York Jets and the Houston Texans, according to Over The Cap.
