Kurt Warner and NFL GM: Rosen worth only 3rd-round pick
After reports surfaced that the Arizona Cardinals are targeting quarterback Kyler Murray with the No. 1 pick, questions arose regarding what the team will do with current starter Josh Rosen.
Rosen could be placed on the trading block if the Cardinals are set on Murray as their new starter. On Monday, NBC's Peter King gauged the market value for the UCLA product who was selected 10th overall in the 2018 NFL Draft.
"I would give a three for Josh," former Cardinals quarterback Kurt Warner told King.
Warner wasn't the only one to weigh in on Rosen's value. King also spoke to a "renowned" NFL general manager about what Arizona could land.
"Probably a three," the GM said. "Not what the Cardinals would think his value is."
Arizona traded third- and fifth-round picks to the Oakland Raiders during the 2018 draft to move up five slots and draft Rosen.
The 22-year-old started 13 games for the Cardinals during the 2018 campaign, throwing for 2,278 yards with 11 touchdowns and 14 interceptions.
