The Los Angeles Chargers and quarterback Tyrod Taylor have agreed to a two-year contract, a source told NFL Network's Ian Rapoport.

Taylor joins the Bolts after spending one season with the Cleveland Browns, where he was benched early in the campaign for No. 1 overall pick Baker Mayfield. The 29-year-old will slot in behind Philip Rivers on the Chargers' depth chart.

Prior to his brief stint with the Browns, Taylor spent three years with the Bills, leading Buffalo to the playoffs in 2017 for the first time since 1999. However, he was traded to Cleveland after throwing for 2,799 yards, 14 touchdowns, and only four interceptions during the season.

Taylor threw for 473 yards, two touchdowns, and two interceptions over four appearances with the Browns.
