A WestJet Boeing 737 Max 8 plane has a temporary home at the John C. Munro Hamilton International Airport. The plane arrived Wednesday evening from Tampa with no passengers. Once space opens up at another airport, the plane will be moved with no passengers aboard. Canada announced Wednesday it was grounding all 737 Max 8 aircraft until further notice in the wake of Sunday's fatal crash in Ethiopia, the second deadly crash involving the Boeing model in five months.
