Days away from the NFL's annual meeting, there is growing support on the league's competition committee for making pass interference and limited personal fouls reviewable, sources told Mark Maske of the Washington Post.

That support for expanding replay is reportedly limited to instances where a flag was thrown on the play, Maske adds.

The impetus for the rule change is an incident late in January's NFC Championship Game in which a Los Angeles Rams defender ran into a receiver before the ball arrived on the play. No flag was thrown on the field, and commissioner Roger Goodell has since said a penalty should have been called.

Seven more replay-related proposals submitted by teams will reportedly be up for discussion, Maske adds.

New rules or revisions need support from at least 24 of the league's 32 owners at this weekend's annual meeting in order to be adopted.
