Michael Irvin announces he's cancer-free
Hall of Fame receiver Michael Irvin revealed he is cancer-free after undergoing tests on his throat earlier in the week.
"Thank you, God for continuing to answer prayers and thank you all for praying," Irvin posted in an Instagram message on Sunday. "I spoke with Dr. St John at UCLA Medical and she has informed me that all (tests) have come back 100 percent clean. No cancer! It is impossible to express my family and my appreciation for the overwhelming outpour of love, support, and prayers."
The Cowboys legend announced he was undergoing tests Wednesday having suffered from a throat issue for months. He revealed he was frightened by the situation due to previously losing his father to the disease.
