OPP say a man broke into a Caledonia-area business in the middle of the night and made off with some meat sticks. Haldimand County OPP are investigating a break-and-enter at Wally Parr Sausage on Highway 6, between Caledonia and Mount Hope that happened early Thursday. Someone forced entry to the building, took "a quantity" of pepperettes and took off. The break-in occurred at precisely 2:08 a.m. and police have a description of both the man and his vehicle. The man is described as between five-foot-four and five-foot-five with a thin build. He was wearing a dark-coloured ball cap and dark pants that had a reflective strip at the bottom. He left in a white Chevrolet Silverado pickup. As OPP investigate, they are asking anyone who may have noticed any suspicious people or vehicles to contact them at 1-888-310-1122.
