International Trade Refutes Hobbes's Theory about the State of Nature

Hobbes claimed that the state will always be there as the champion and defender of human rights and the common good. Real-world international trade should compel us to abandon the Hobbesian fallacy that we need a state to guarantee peace in our commercial lives.
