The Seattle Seahawks are still considering trading defensive end Frank Clark, a source told ESPN's Adam Schefter.

Should the franchise-tagged defender be traded prior to Thursday's NFL draft, Seattle would be asking for at least a first-round pick, Schefter adds.

Reports surfaced Friday that Clark was drawing interest from other clubs and that the Seahawks could be willing to move their top pass-rusher instead of handing over a big-money extension or risking a lengthy holdout.

The 25-year-old has yet to sign his one-year, $17.1-million tender. The pass-rusher reportedly doesn't intend to show up for training camp without a new deal, though general manager John Schneider said Thursday that he expects Clark to report to the team.

A second-round selection in 2015, Clark has established himself as one of the league's top pass-rushers with 22 sacks over the past two seasons.

Seattle recently signed quarterback Russell Wilson to a four-year extension worth $140 million.
