A day after Johnson County District Attorney Stephen Howe announced he won't file charges against Tyreek Hill and his fiancee, Crystal Espinal, following an investigation into possible child abuse, the Kansas City Chiefs wideout insisted he's a good parent.

"I love and support my family above anything. My son's health and happiness is my number one priority," Hill said in a statement The Kansas City Star's Brooke Pryor obtained.

Hill's 3-year-old son reportedly suffered a broken arm in a battery incident earlier this year. Hill was implicated in two police reports Espinal filed in March.

The DA noted that he believes a crime took place, but there's insufficient evidence to convict the perpetrator.

Hill thanked the Chiefs, the NFLPA, and his lawyers for their support in his statement, and asserted that reports suggesting he wasn't cooperative with the investigation are false.
