Josh Rosen has found a new home.

The Arizona Cardinals traded the former first-round quarterback to the Miami Dolphins on Friday for the 62nd pick in the 2019 NFL Draft, the clubs announced.

Miami also sent a 2020 fifth-rounder to Arizona as part of the deal. (It was originally reported that it was the Cardinals who gave up a fifth.)

The writing was on the wall for Rosen, last year's No. 10 pick, after Arizona took Heisman-winning passer Kyler Murray with the first overall pick Thursday.

With the New York Giants and Washington Redskins drafting quarterbacks, Rosen's options appeared limited. The Cardinals reportedly wanted to get back a first-rounder for the former UCLA passer and were apparently in talks to acquire the 48th pick from Miami earlier Friday, but they were ultimately forced to move him for the lower pick.

Rosen will join veteran Ryan Fitzpatrick in Miami. The Dolphins were reportedly intent on getting Alabama quarterback Tua Tagovailoa in next year's draft, which likely would've required the club to finish with one of the league's worst records.

The 22-year-old Rosen struggled in his first NFL season, throwing for 2,278 yards and 11 touchdowns to 14 interceptions across 13 starts.

Arizona got Murray a new weapon with the pick it received for Rosen, selecting wide receiver Andy Isabella out of UMass.
