The Tampa Bay Buccaneers signed free-agent defensive tackle Ndamukong Suh on Thursday, the team announced.

Suh agreed to a one-year, $9.25-million contract worth up to $10 million through incentives, a source told ESPN's Adam Schefter.

Tampa Bay's addition on the interior comes just three days after it parted ways with six-time Pro Bowler Gerald McCoy. The club will end up paying Suh at least $3 million less than McCoy would have made in 2019.

Suh joins the Buccaneers after a one-year stint with the Los Angeles Rams, whom he helped reach the Super Bowl for the first time since 2001.

The 32-year-old is expected to line up alongside 2018 first-rounder Vita Vea in Todd Bowles' new-look defense.
