It's safe to say Joe Flacco is making a good early impression on his Denver Broncos teammates.

The Broncos kicked off their three-day mandatory minicamp Tuesday, and star pass-rusher Von Miller thought his 34-year-old quarterback looked like the player who led the Baltimore Ravens to a championship

"He looks like a Super Bowl MVP to me," Miller told reporters, according to Arnie Stapleton of The Associated Press. "Today he had a play-action, rolled out to the right and threw the ball from the opposite 20 to the opposite 15. Now, I don't know how far that is.

"He threw the ball far. He can throw 80 yards, easy."

Denver is relying on experience at key positions to succeed in 2019. The Broncos are the only squad aside from the New England Patriots that currently rosters multiple Super Bowl MVPs (Miller captured the award at Super Bowl 50).

Players weren't the only ones taking note of Flacco's abilities. Head coach Vic Fangio came away impressed with his starting quarterback after Denver's first minicamp practice.

"He still has a big arm, the ball still comes out of his hand with a lot of liveliness to it," Fangio said. "It's a very catchable ball. I think the guys like playing with him. I've been happy with Joe."

Though he'll likely face competition during the year in the form of 2019 second-rounder Drew Lock, Flacco is fully expected to begin the campaign as the Broncos' starter.
