Video shows Kareem Hunt talking to cops after alleged 'small argument'
Cleveland Browns running back Kareem Hunt was filmed talking with several Cleveland police officers outside a bar late Saturday night in a video obtained by TMZ.
A witness told TMZ that Hunt was involved in a physical altercation with another man after leaving the Barley House, but the witness wasn't sure if it was friendly roughhousing or an actual fight.
Hunt was not detained or arrested and no police report or documentation exists related to the incident, a police spokeswoman told Cleveland.com's Adam Ferrise and Mary Kay Cabot.
Barley House owner Bobby George told WKYZ3, "I believe it was a small argument with one of his friends. People blew it out of proportion."
The Kansas City Chiefs released the 23-year-old in December after a video surfaced showing Hunt physically assaulting a woman. He signed with the Browns in February and was handed an eight-game suspension by the NFL.
Hunt rushed for 2,151 yards and 15 touchdowns while adding 79 catches for 833 yards and 10 receiving touchdowns in two seasons with Kansas City.
A Browns spokesperson told Ferrise and Cabot that the team is aware of the incident but won't comment further at this point, while an NFL official declined to comment.
