Elliott apologizes after meeting with Goodell about Vegas incident
Dallas Cowboys running back Ezekiel Elliott took to Twitter on Tuesday to apologize for an incident with a security guard in Las Vegas earlier this offseason.
"I've worked hard to make better decisions and to live up to the high standards that are expected of me," Elliot wrote following a meeting with NFL commissioner Roger Goodell.

Elliot was handcuffed at a music festival in May, and the altercation was recorded by a bystander and uploaded online.
The 23-year-old was not charged. Though players can still be subject to either a suspension or fine under the league's personal conduct policy without an arrest occurring, Elliott is expected to avoid discipline, according to NFL Network's Mike Garafolo.
Elliot was suspended for six games in 2017 for violating the NFL's conduct policy after an ex-girlfriend said he abused her.
The running back has captured the rushing title in two of his first three seasons and totaled 2,001 yards from scrimmage last year.
