Bodies recovered from Thames in search for missing swimmers

One male body fetched out of Shadwell Basin while another is pulled from the river in Kingston

Two bodies have been found during police searches for swimmers who went missing in separate incidents on the Thames.

Scotland Yard said the body of a man was pulled from the river Thames at around 4.30pm on Wednesday in Kingston, south-west London. A 47-year-old reportedly entered the water and began swimming on Tuesday evening.
