Raiders legend Cliff Branch dies at 71
Former Oakland/Los Angeles Raiders receiver Cliff Branch died Saturday at the age of 71, the team announced.
Branch spent all 14 of his NFL seasons with the Raiders, winning three Super Bowls.
"Cliff Branch touched the lives of generations of Raiders fans," the club said in a statement. "His loss leaves an eternal void for the Raiders Family, but his kindness and loving nature will be fondly remembered forever. Cliff's on-field accomplishments are well documented and undeniably Hall of Fame worthy, but his friendship and smile are what the Raider Nation will always cherish."
Owner Mark Davis also posted a message from the team's Twitter account.

The four-time Pro Bowler is ranked third all time in franchise receptions (501) and receiving yards (8,685). He also accrued 67 career touchdowns and surpassed 1,000 yards receiving twice.
