Hall of Famer Morten Andersen offers to help Carli Lloyd prepare for NFL
Hall of Fame kicker Morten Andersen is offering to work with United States women's national soccer team star Carli Lloyd if she decides to pursue an NFL career.
Anderson sent a message to Lloyd on Twitter after her trainer said multiple NFL teams have approached the 37-year-old, with one club willing to put her straight onto its roster for a preseason game.

Andersen spent 25 years in the NFL, connecting on 79.7% of his field-goal attempts while playing for the New Orleans Saints, Atlanta Falcons, New York Giants, Kansas City Chiefs, and Minnesota Vikings.
There's no word yet on whether Lloyd will take Andersen up on his offer, but she did tell reporters Thursday that she's confident in being able to kick in the NFL with the right technique and practice.
