Dez tells Zeke to 'stand your ground' in contract battle with Cowboys
Former Dallas Cowboys wide receiver Dez Bryant is encouraging holdout running back Ezekiel Elliott to not back down from his contract demands.
Bryant tweeted his advice to Elliott on Friday after Cowboys owner Jerry Jones warned the two-time rushing champion about not honoring his current deal during a radio appearance.
Zeke great for you...15years 20years from now you are going to thank yourself... being 100% committed to something and not getting that same commitment back will break you down! Stand your ground.. I wish I would have done a lot of things different https://t.co/aDBW5lZVVk

Bryant was released by the Cowboys in April 2018 after eight seasons with the team. By cutting him, Dallas did not honor the final two years of his deal.
Elliott is under contract through the 2020 season. His holdout seems likely to bleed into the regular season, with all indications being that he and the Cowboys aren't making much progress in negotiations.
Bryant, a free agent, made three Pro Bowls as a member of the Cowboys. He and Elliott played two seasons together.
