The Los Angeles Rams signed quarterback Jared Goff to a four-year extension, the team announced Tuesday.

The new deal will reportedly pay the quarterback $134 million and includes an NFL-record $110 million guaranteed, a source told ESPN's Adam Schefter.

The extension will keep Goff in Los Angeles through the 2024 season.

Goff's reported annual average of $33.5 million places him tied for third with Aaron Rodgers among all current quarterback contracts, behind only Russell Wilson and Ben Roethlisberger. The Rams starter's record-setting guaranteed money narrowly surpasses the $107.8 million guaranteed Carson Wentz was given earlier this offseason in his extension.

The 24-year-old had two years remaining on his rookie deal that paid him an average annual salary of $7 million.

The Rams have gone 24-7 with Goff as the starter over his last two years. In his rookie campaign, the pivot failed to win a game in his seven starts under head coach Jeff Fisher, however, he showed considerable improvement after Sean McVay joined the team in 2017.

Goff, the No. 1 overall pick in the 2016 draft, led Los Angeles to the Super Bowl in 2018. During the regular season, he threw for 4,688 yards with 32 touchdowns and 12 interceptions.
