Cleveland Browns wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. revealed Thursday that his ongoing hip injury is preventing him "from opening up and sprinting" ahead of the team's season opener, according to Mary Kay Cabot of cleveland.com.

"It's like an extremely fast car with the alignment off,'' Beckham said. "The car can still go, but it's dangerous.''

Beckham said he's still set to play Sunday against the Tennessee Titans, according to Tom Reed of The Athletic.

The star pass-catcher didn't suit up in any of Cleveland's preseason games and sat out most of training camp as the team took a cautious approach to what was categorized as a minor injury.

Beckham added that he's hoping the adrenaline of game day will help him play through the ailment.
