Taken in hate, from Poland to Siberia, Hamilton survivor gave back love, tolerance

Stella Serafin's mother, Maria Przychodzien, was part of a mass deportation of Poles at beginning of Second World War, that landed her in a Siberian forced labour camp, where she lived in hardship and terrible cold for two years.
