Proxy to be used for FCM XMPP mode

We are trying to connect to FCM XMPP but due to some restriction on the internal LAN this flow is not allowed. We are thinking of creating a forward proxy for this purpose. The reason is that Google used to change IP Addresses and the host should be resolvable via DNS.

Does anyone have experience on what tools to use for this purpose? I've been googling around if Squid can accomplish this but looks like its not..
