Severe thunderstorm warning in effect for Hamilton

Environment Canada has issued a severe thunderstorm warning for the city of Hamilton. A cluster of thunderstorms capable of producing strong wind gusts, dime-sized hail and heavy rain are causing torrential downpours throughout the area. Wind gusts up to 90 km/h are possible as well as 50 mm of rainfall in a short period of time.
