Files on LFS partition dissappeared

Hi all, I'm having issues after trying to resume my LFS installation.
I'm using Book 9 and Manjaro as host system.
I have got to end of Ch 6 and had to restart my host system.
When I came to mount my LFS partition, it mounts but the only files it shows are 'lost+found'
parted shows that ~500MB are in use on the partition.
Any clues as to where the system has gone?
