Firefox: how to transfer extensions and bookmarks between computers?
by grumpyskeptic from LinuxQuestions.org on (#4QXTE)
I have two computers, this one running Linux Mint 17.3 Rosa Cinnamon with Firefox 66.0.3, and another one that I have just installed Linux Mint 19.2 Tina Mate on with the version of Firefox that that has, probably an even more recent version.
How can I transfer details of the extensions and bookmarks for Firefox between computers using a pen drive?
There used to be a Firefox extension called FEBE that could do this, but although I have tried installing several versions from FEBE's webpage, Firefox will not accept any of them.
Is there a way of at least making a list of the extensions so that I can install them manually? Writing them on paper could be done but is there an easier quicker way?
Thanks.
