troubles installing buster from scratch
by Beerforfree from LinuxQuestions.org on (#4R6XB)
Trying to install debian-live-10.1.0-amd64-xfce on a previous Mint
Deleting any partition but the boot one, no grub is installed
If I create manually partitions (EFI, boot, swap, home) isn't able to install grub, trying to install it later wasn't possible due to no grub command was recognised and I couldn't install it using apt
If I let debian to choose how to partition de disk, no EFI partition is made and is not able to write partitions to disk (boot, swap, home)
After several attemps I ended deleting everything, now I have no options to select EFI for a new partition, this option disappeared, I just have file formats ,swap and physical volume options
this image is a real pain, they could have made it better
any hints on how installing debian from scratch are welcome
