I cannot write áéíóú in Konsole or Kate, but I can do it in VS Code and LibreOffice

Hello group,
I have a problem with the accents, with after an update of Linux Mint KDE 18.2 Sonia, I cannot write in Konsole, Kate, Dolphin and some other programs the Spanish accents in the vowels: ii(C)ioii1/4iiiiii. However, that problem does not appear in LibreOffice, Visual Studio Code, Google Chrome or Spyder.
The problem only affects my session. When I start my linux using another user, the problem does not appear.
Any clue on what to do?
