Fitzgerald moves into 2nd on NFL's all-time receptions list
Larry Fitzgerald is staring down Jerry Rice.
The longtime Arizona Cardinals receiver passed Hall of Famer Tony Gonzalez on the NFL's all-time receptions list by hauling in his 1,326th career grab Sunday. He now trails only Jerry Rice, who has 1,549 catches.

Fitzgerald moved up the record books on a 15-yard reception late in a loss to the Seattle Seahawks. He finished the game with five catches for 47 yards.

He's now in his 16th year and has averaged 86 catches per campaign. Trailing Rice by 224 receptions, he'd need to play another two-and-a-half seasons at his career pace to catch the all-time leader. Fitzgerald hauled in 69 passes in 2018.
