There was no shortage of great outings during high-scoring games across the league in Week 5.

Here are the top performances from Sunday's contests:

Deshaun Watson, QB, Texans

28-for-33 passing, 426 yards, 5 TDs, 158.3 passer rating, 47 rushing yards

The Atlanta Falcons' defense had no answer for Watson on Sunday. Houston's franchise quarterback became the second player in the Super Bowl era to throw for 400-plus yards, record five touchdowns, and rush for 40-plus yards in a game. Watson faced pressure on a number of dropbacks, but he was able to make plays both inside and outside of the pocket while earning his first-career perfect passer rating.

Christian McCaffrey, RB, Panthers

176 rushing yards, 6 receptions, 61 receiving yards, 3 TDs

If there was any doubt prior to Week 5, McCaffrey asserted himself as the league's premier running back. The versatile weapon torched the Jacksonville Jaguars, recording 237 total yards and three scores. McCaffrey's performance reached its climax early in the third quarter when he scored on an 84-yard dash, the longest run in franchise history.

Michael Thomas, WR, Saints

11 receptions, 182 receiving yards, 2 TDs

Thomas continued his torrid start to the 2019 season by dominating a division rival. The talented wideout recorded nine-plus receptions for the fourth time in five games this year, reaching that mark while consistently schooling Buccaneers defensive backs. Many expected a slight dip in production when Drew Brees went down, but Thomas can put up absurd numbers regardless of who the Saints start at quarterback.

Dalvin Cook, RB, Vikings

132 rushing yards, 6 receptions, 86 receiving yards

Cook went toe to toe with McCaffrey while competing to be the week's top-producing running back. In the midst of a breakout campaign, the third-year back totaled 218 yards on 27 touches during the Vikings' easy win over the Giants. Cook has always possessed immense talent and athleticism as a runner, but his improvement as a pass-catcher is making Minnesota's offense difficult to defend, even with Kirk Cousins struggling.

Will Fuller, WR, Texans

14 receptions, 217 receiving yards, 3 TDs

The main beneficiary of Watson's incredible afternoon, Fuller left Atlanta's defenders in the dust. The young receiver topped 10 receptions and 200 yards for the first time in his career. When his quarterback was given time to throw, Fuller was able to get open with ease. It simply didn't matter how the Falcons tried to contain him.

Teddy Bridgewater, QB, Saints

26-for-34 passing, 314 yards, 4 TDs, 131.2 passer rating

After the Saints used a conservative approach in his first two starts, Bridgewater was let loose against the Buccaneers. The veteran tossed four touchdown passes for just the second time in his career while averaging 9.2 yards pass per attempt. His accuracy to every level of the field was an encouraging sight. Most importantly to head coach Sean Payton, Bridgewater led the Saints to their third straight win since replacing the injured Drew Brees.

Aaron Jones, RB, Packers

107 rushing yards, 7 receptions, 75 receiving yards, 4 TDs

Jones was a big part of Green Bay's dramatic win over the Dallas Cowboys on Sunday Night Football. Though he did most of his damage in the first half, the Packers' tailback led his team to victory with a career-high 182 scrimmage yards and a whopping four scores. All this occurred without No. 1 wider receiver Davante Adams. After schooling a talented Cowboys defense, Jones is up to eight touchdowns on the year.

Amari Cooper, WR, Cowboys

11 receptions, 226 yards, 1 TD

It won't get as much attention because it came in a losing effort, but Cooper was phenomenal against the Packers. The young wideout, who landed with the Cowboys in a midseason trade from the Raiders last year, is one of the league's top route-runners - there just aren't many defenders who stand a chance against him when left alone in solo coverage. That ability has made him the centerpiece of the Dallas passing game, and Cooper is finally getting recognized as one of the NFL's premier receivers as a result.

Eagles' defense

6 points allowed, 10 sacks, 2 interceptions, 2 defensive TDs

Though it was partly the result of a poor performance from New York Jets quarterback Luke Falk, Philadelphia's defense dominated from start to finish on Sunday. Defensive end Brandon Graham and fill-in cornerback Orlando Scandrick led Jim Schwartz's unit. The former accumulated three sacks and five QB hits, while the latter recorded two sacks and a fumble-recovery touchdown to seal the game. Linebacker Nathan Gerry kicked off the fun with a 51-yard pick-6 in the first quarter.

DJ Chark, WR, Jaguars

8 receptions, 164 receiving yards, 2 TDs

Chark continued his surprisingly sizzling campaign against the top-ranked Panthers pass defense. Through five weeks, the sophomore receiver has tallied 27 catches for 485 yards and five touchdowns. Chark is a threat in the red zone, on deep routes, and on contested targets. Gardner Minshew deserves a ton of credit for Chark's hot start, but the emergence of a true No. 1 wideout in Jacksonville has certainly helped the quarterback's cause.
