My girlfriend and I went out and bought a table at a yard sale for $20 and turned it into a custom Risk board!

Throughout college my friends and I would get big groups of people together to play Risk on our nights off, and we really enjoyed the Game of Thrones version since it was a 7 person game and you know... Game of Thrones was still good at the time.

Since then, I've had my eye out for a good sized table that I could turn into a map for a custom board. So one weekend browsing craigslist I found a good candidate, and this is how we transformed it over the following weeks:

Note: this is a first-time project, I don't do much wood-working at all. I just raided my dad's garage for tools and watched videos on different methods. So if you have any suggestions-I'd actually appreciate it!
