Installation of 'Chide' in ubuntu 14.04

After installation of 'Chide' in ubuntu 14.04 I have tried to execute the program data2D.ch .But I could not get the graphics."/usr/local/ch/sbin/gnuplot: error while loading shared libraries: libgd.so.2: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory".the above error is appearing.how to fix this
