The Cincinnati Bengals have handed offensive tackle Cordy Glenn a one-game suspension for internal disciplinary reasons, the team announced on Friday.

Glenn won't count against the 53-man roster in Week 7 when the winless Bengals take on the Jacksonville Jaguars.

The ban comes on the heels of a report that Glenn clashed with the team over the way it handled a concussion he suffered. The Bengals already reportedly fined Glenn $200,000 at some point this season for conduct detrimental to the team.

Glenn and the Bengals reportedly disagreed about the injury, its symptoms, the need for another medical opinion, and his readiness to return. The 30-year-old reportedly told head coach Zac Taylor to release him after getting into an argument with a member of the coaching staff.

Glenn suffered the concussion before the regular season and has yet to make his 2019 debut. He was initially expected to move to left guard this year, but the veteran shifted back to left tackle after first-round pick Jonah Williams suffered a season-ending shoulder injury over the summer.
